The Kaleidico Interview

Today I sat down and had a brief chat with Realmplex's newly elected moderator, Kaleidico after his decisive victory in the first 2026 admin vote. Having just come from serving an uninterrupted tenure as Imustbemad's Co-mod, was the most qualified candidate on paper. That qualification carried him to the finish line, so to speak; and it carried him to this interview as well.

Pebble: What do you plan to do as your first official acts as moderator? Kaleidico: I want to change the rules so that undoing perma-bans now require a 75% majority, as well as full context being required. I also want to prevent anything from being built at spawn without broad contribution and input from the server as a whole.

Pebble: Interesting indeed. While I think I have a good idea as to why you made these choices, could I ask what compromises you may have had to make? Kaleidico: It would've been ideal to instate official limits on spawn before the perimeter was dug, but it was less of a compromise, and more so something outside of my control. Pebble: Are you comfortable/at liberty to elaborate on your feelings towards the new spawn? Kaleidico: I'll pass, I feel like I've elaborated a lot to the people who need to hear it.

Pebble: Do you intend to maintain the duration of the current sentences of all banned members?

Kaleidico: For the time being, yes.

Pebble: Will you be consulting your co-mods often for policy? or will they play a more auxillary role outside of contentious decisions? Kaleidico: I want to consult them whenever there is room for debate, and want them to speak up what they think is important.

Pebble: Could you elaborate on some of your plans for the next 6 months?

Kaleidico: Aside from continuing work on the currency system, I really want to find a wider playerbase for the server, while retaining the friends of friends spirit that everyone has come to expect. This would also include the possibility of making a second spawn, where new players with no connections to the current playerbase have a space to start fresh, and fill out the 5k region; As well as encouraging new players to invite their friends, creating new pockets of players from different places.

Pebble: Do you have any plans to do more events now that you're running the show?

Kaleidico: Definitely. I want to start making seasonal events that people look forward to;

Some examples include,

• Easter and halloween head hunt

• Summer hunger games (NZ winter)

• Various minigames, especially at bean town

• Proper pvp tournaments held in the Baked Bastion

Pebble: Wonderful. Now, what about the alleged 5,000 Spud you recieved from Kiddorox? What do you plan to do with that?

Kaleidico: Well, I mentioned it under my announcement, but I’m going to use it prize money for the winners of various server events.

Pebble: And do you have any closing comments for our readers?

Kaleidico: The Bram is the powerhouse of the Well.
