After the publishing of my Basil interview, Rory almost immediately started to correct what Basil had said. After a while the two had started to go at it, and I got to thinking. Rory has an odd habit of managing to think of the most bad faith interpretation of his opponent, and then tries to deconstruct the strawman of them that he created.

For example, Basil Made a point in a debate that he didn't believe that Carrot or Potato would allow any of their subsidiaries to break away, should they choose to do so. In response to this, Rory responded by dropping this absolute banger:

Now, you may be wondering: Why is this a bad thing? Well, to put it simply, It damages the reputability of Carrot, and to a smaller extension, the URA. Rory is easily one of the most extreme and vocal URA members, and when he pulls bafflingly stupid moves like this, it shines negatively on the rest of the URA. He manages to make allies of the USA seem reasonable by comparison, something which, I'd imagine isn't exactly within his best interests.

Rory is easily the most detrimental member to the URA's own cause, and i have a feeling that he's only in the alliance because he's friends with Taylor. I'm hard pressed to believe that he and Taylor actually agree on much, considering that every time Rory is allowed to speak independently he drops some truth bombs like the screenshot above.
